Chiba Prefecture Dairy Village
As the birthplace of dairy farming in Japan, Dairy Village hosts exhibitions on dairy farming.

This area is the birthplace of dairy farming in Japan, and the industry has long prospered in the region. Dairy Village includes the Dairy Farming Museum, an interactive animal area and simulated cow milking. Visitors can even see white cows—a rare sight in Japan!
Dairy farming was introduced to Japan when the 18th-century shogun Yoshimune Tokugawa imported white cows and produced the dairy product hakugyu-raku (lit. "white cow dairy").
There area serves as a popular cherry blossom viewing spot during the spring.

- From Awa-Kamogawa Stn. (JR Sotobo Line), take a Nitto bus bound for Hiratsukahongo/Kozuka and get off at Nagasachu-mae (Nagasa Junior High School) bus stop, from which Dairy Village is 1 hour on foot
